Jimmy, that was the coolest part of all of it.... watching people step up and fill the gaps.

We were used Social Media to get the word out... to get things rolling... to get those last dollars... and to share info during/after. It was empowering and satisfying to watch the needed $'s drop as people responded.

Simply awesome. Thanks Jimmy for being one of them... maybe the first?

Nice post, Jimmy. I was excited to chip in a few bucks too and was very impressed how things came together. It was interesting to contrast the differences between Social Dev Camp and the recent Barcamp Orlando I went to. The common thread, however, was great people and great organizers!

This is great to see. It's easy for me to say now, if I had seen Keith's message I would have chipped in for $100 without hesitation. Knowing what I know now, after watching many streams and other great info that came from this event, it would have been well worth it, despite not even being there. Count me in for next time! And big applause for the DC/Baltimore tech community!
