I know I am not breaking any unchartered territory here, but I have integrated the Disqus into the blog as the commenting system. I had been reading about it around the interwebs and thought it was cool, but had not gotten around to checking it out. What really pushed me over the edge was the integration I saw with Seesmic and the ability to easily leave video comments. I saw a great example of a post yesterday over at Techcrunch where Tim O’Reilly left avideo comment and then Michael Arrington followed up with his own. It seemed to add a great layer of community into the comment system.
Anyway, I headed over, signed up for Disqus and with literally a couple of clicks, had it all set up. You can obviously still leave a regular comment, but you can now also leave us all a video comment. Just hit the button I have highlighted below and you are on your way.
Anyway, I would love to hear what you all think and your feelings about video comments versus text ones ?
Would you do one over the other and why ?
