Mpowerplayer, a Reston, VA based startup, who has become a leader in online demos for mobile games announced some exciting news. The are releasing Mplayit Mobile Arcade, a Facebook application that will allow users to find, try and buy mobile games directly through Facebook.
Mpowerplayer was recently part of LaunchBox Digital’s startup program last summer and has followed that strong performance up with continued good news. They recently also launch mplayit, a free way for consumers to try mobile games through their browser and the buy them for your mobile platform.
With the release of Mplayit Mobile Arcade, they are going to be able to reach an entirely new audience that may not have know about their capability before. The ability for friends to share the app and the games they try and buy will be a win for both users and the game developers. Mobile platforms are exploding before our eyes with the number of handsets growing exponenitally throughout the world and the gaming market’s potential is huge. Mpowerplayer is fast becoming the go to location to get games for all those platforms. Apple obviously has the iTunes App Store for developers to get their creations out to iPhone users and Mpowerplayer is that conduit for the rest of the mobile handsets.
