I wanted to pass along the details of a pretty exciting event taking place on January 14th at Johns Hopkins University’s Rockville, MD campus. The event is being put on by Network Solutions (aka our friend Shashi) and titled, “If You Build It, Will They Come, An explorations of socila networks, including what’s working now and how to build and nurture an online community”.
What is really exciting is the guests that will be presenting for the event, Rohit Bhargava, author of “Personality Not Included“, and Frank Warren who created the totally amazing blog, PostSecret. For those of you who do not follow PostSecret, it is a blog where people send in anonymous secrets and Frank scans them in and puts up a collection of then every Sunday morning. I must admit, these secrets can be addictive to read through for some odd reason. It is literally the first this I read with my coffee on Sunday mornings ! Frank has built an unbelievable following and travels the country talking about his site and his book “A Lifetime of Secrets: A PostSecret Book“.
