Well thanks to a new service called Skribit all the readers can submit stories or suggestions that the other readers can vote on. The blog owner can then gain a little more interaction with the readers gain some inspiration from the suggestions or tips that are submitted.
Every now and again I will admit that fighting through some blog writers block can be frustrating. Maybe its a time thing, but many times it is just a matter of findings ideas. On this blog, its a matter of finding out about local tech stuff going on, a local startup, or things like that. It is not the easiest of tasks to stay on top of all of this. So I was pretty excited to se
e this idea. They have a main page where you can see some of the Popular Suggestions that have been submitted across their service as well as some of the suggestions that have actually been blogged about.
So how do you make suggestions ? Its so easy even I can do it … They have a WordPress plugin that you simply install on your blog. If you are not a WP user, they have the code you can simply enter into your blog template. Once it is installed you can have people start using it. If you go ahead and look over to the right, yeah right over there, you will see a widget called ECB Reader Suggestions. What I am really looking for is tips from everyone on events in the area I can highlight, local companies we can showcase, or anything else you have for the rest of the readership.
So if you have an idea or tip, go ahead and submit it !
