As many of you who follow the blog are aware, there is a really cool energy settling on the local DC and surrounding areas. It has been bubbling under the surface for a bit now, but lately it seems to have broken the surface so to speak. This is in no small part to a small group of people to include Peter Corbett, Frank Gruber, and the organizer of Ignite DC (along with a great number of other things) Jared Goralnick.
On Thursday night I was lucky enough to be able to attend Ignite DC #1. I wrote a bit about it here, but basically it is 16 speakers who have 5 minutes to get through 20 slides about a WIDE variety of topics. I can not even begin to do the talks justice, but you can check out all of them right HERE. It was a great combo of guests and the vibe was incredible.
