Not that we all dont know this, becuase as far as I am concerened the DC area is hands down the best place to be for social media and technology 
Ok, maybe not the best, but I like it dammit. As many of us have witnessed there has been a really special movement a foot here in the area with regards to the local community. We are constantly seeing an increase in event attendance, events like Ignite DC, and so on.
I was sent a link to this article on a recent ranking of hot technology spots across the country. Not too much of a surprise that Silicon Valley fared the best, followed up by Seatte and the Boston area. Washington came in a cool fourth, moving up a slot since 2003.
So what are your thoughts ? Do you think this is accurate ? In any case, nice to see DC up there on the list, surprised to see SF down at the bottom though …
